The Humbug Chase Q & A
What technical level do you have to be at to undertake the Humbug Chase?.
There are no “technical” sections with most of the route being on surfaced tracks. There are several descents and climbs so riders should be able to use their brakes and gears correctly and be safe to ride in group situations.
Riders comments:
“… Our daughters 8 yrs and 11 years took part. They had a fantastic time. They loved seeing all the adult riders getting ready and setting off, quite a spectacle. They thoroughly enjoyed the ride route. They cycled somewhere they had never been before and although the 8 year old found some of it a bit tough they both really hope the event runs again next year so they can take part again…” Mrs C.
